could you make it any smoother by creating a interpolate frame, a simple layer combination of previous next ?

My camera at the time wasn't very fast at taking pictures. Something in the area of 1 every 3 sec, and I really don't have the patience or space on my memory card, at the time, to put more frames in. so I only put the minimum number of frames to navigate the area and still stay somewhat oriented. though now I have a camera that takes something in the area of 3 pictures/sec so many more frames. That with a 2GB card allows for aprox 1.8K pictures. Adding a transition between frames at this low level of frames would merely disorient a person more. At higher frame rates adding a transition (some type of blur or timed gradient of transparency) may smooth somewhat but use carefully. over all actually having more frames and a higher frame rate is the most effective way to smooth a series of images.
